I read one article and the next one I read contradicts everything the first one said.
The medical community needs to get their stories straight if they are going to continue to lie to us about what is good for us and what is bad for us.
For years now cholesterol has been the cause of many diseases. It has been the “silent killer” and all foods containing it have been on the bad list.
You need cholesterol. It is not evil. It is necessary for your good health. You do not read this very often but it is published, that cholesterol does not cause heart disease. This is the truth.
Once again you have been lied to by the American Medical Association, (AMA). “What do they gain from this?” you say.
I will tell you the story.
First, I am going to tell you that having high cholesterol is good. All the health gurus of today who can say this without losing some kind of license, like a medical license, do say this.
You did not believe me. I know. But I will explain this to you.
I need to start with why the 130 mg/dL level of cholesterol is now considered dangerous to your health.
The healthy level of cholesterol used to be 130 mg/dL. This was changed to the lower 100 mg/dL in the year 2004 by a group of physicians in charge of making this decision. You probably already know how much of “what is”, “is” because “the someones” say so. These “someones” are highly influenced by the money from pharmaceutical companies. So these physicians lowered the “safe” level of cholesterol from 130 mg/dL down to 100 mg/dL, and of course you have already seen what followed. No one reported this as being a conflict of interest as you will see if you follow the money, so it became fact.
A host of people in America alone, about 8 million, now needed to be put on this new drug to lower their cholesterol. I see a problem emerging here that does not need to be here.
There is much bad to be said about big business these days. I see nothing wrong with big business as long as it is healthy, and truthfully honest. I believe that this is not healthy and it is not truthful so it is not honest.
If this was good for your health at least it would not be so very bad, just dishonest. But low cholesterol is bad for your health and that made me think that “they” should have “their” licenses taken away.
First Let’s Define Cholesterol and What It Does
To start with, HDL and LDL are not cholesterol. They are high density lipprotein and low density lipoprotein. These proteins however, do carry your cholesterol throughout your body. LDL carries your cholesterol to your arteries. This may be why it is considered to be dangerous. HDL carries your cholesterol to your liver, and essentially away from your arteries, and may be why it is considered to be the “good cholesterol”. Both of these proteins carry the same cholesterol. And remember that neither one of these is cholesterol at all.
Cholesterol is regulated by your liver. The more you eat, the less it makes, and the less you eat, the more it makes. It is not going to lower your cholesterol by eating less of it. Cholesterol is a necessary precursor of bile acids, steroid hormones and of course Vitamin D. We need cholesterol to survive.
But there are different kinds of foods to eat that have cholesterol in them. Animal fat has cholesterol in it. But animal fat is not bad to eat unless it has been cooked at high temperatures like deep frying. This is because now it has been damaged, and damaged cholesterol is bad for you.
Therefore if you have this “damaged cholesterol” in your blood then a high LDL and a low HDL is considered bad for your health because this kind of cholesterol is bad for your health. But this is only the case if your intake of cholesterol is from animal fats cooked at high temps. Throw those pork necks into the crock pot and cook them, you Southerners.
Your body makes its own cholesterol. The cholesterol your body makes is not bad for your health. Also the healthy fats from say, avocados, organic eggs, olives, cold water fish, and coconut, are not bad for your health.
Cholesterol is a solid alcohol; a waxy steroid of fat. It is an essential structural component of all cell membranes in all mammals. It is required for the proper fluidity and permeability of the cell’s membrane.
Not A Myth
Just as many people die who have low cholesterol from coronary heart disease, as those who die from coronary heart disease who have high cholesterol.
Here is a fact for you. The mortality rate from heart disease is the same as it was 75 years ago, yet the mortality rate from heart failure is twice what it was 18 years ago. Instead of proving their theory they are disproving it. If their theory is true then why is it that half of the people who die from a heart attack have low cholesterol?
A study in Japan showed that as their cholesterol/LDL levels went up, the level of Coronary heart Disease went down….still taking that statin drug?
Did you know that people with high cholesterol live longer? The fact that the people with the highest cholesterol live the longest has been shown in many scientific papers. And still these people are touting the idea that high cholesterol will kill you.
The Truth About Low Cholesterol
Low cholesterol is generally bad for your health. You can get diseases of the lung, stomach and intestines and have an increased risk of dying from them, by having low cholesterol.
There is scientific evidence that shows low cholesterol makes a person more susceptible to infection or infectious diseases, including HIV. And this susceptibility can be up to 4 times as much.
LDL is not bad, and this protein is capable of protecting your cells from the infectious staphylococcus bacterium toxin. There are other protective properties about LDL. When a bacterial toxin enters your system, it stimulates your body’s white blood cells to make cytokines, which are hormones that start the inflammation process. LDL is also capable of stopping this physiological event as well.
It is not advisable to have low cholesterol for a long period of time. It can lead to depression, vitamin D deficiency, increased chances of a stroke, and hormonal imbalances and all the problems that can go along with it.
The Real Truth of Cholesterol
Your ratios of your blood test levels are important. You, of course, must keep a diet centered around plants (vegetables, fruits, things that come from plants and not animals) and keep your animal fats cooked with low temps like in a crock pot. You would be amazed at how good you can make red meat, and pork, taste when you cook it in a crock pot, no matter what the meat is. This will keep the cholesterol you are eating in them be undamaged which is just fine to eat.
A cholesterol level of 150 mg/dL is good. I can see you freaking out right now after you read that. Listen to this next statement. You will be just fine if your level is not this high, if you are keeping your diet in the plant based range. I know it is not what you have been told for a long time but this is the truth, and science has proven it. They work hard not to publicize it.
You need to keep your ratio between HDL and total cholesterol above 25%. “Wow!”, you say. I know but this is the real stuff. It is also true that if your ratio is under 15% you have a bigger risk of experiencing a heart attack.
Your ratio between triglycerides and HDL (triglycerides/HDL) should be 2% or it can even be lower.
I can now see you going to find your blood test papers and see what your ratios are and if they agree with this or not. And I do not blame you one bit. I did the same thing when I was finally convinced this is the truth.
What Is Wrong With the Cholesterol Meds?
In some of the experiments conducted they found that the patients that had their cholesterol lowered died from heart attacks. They do not publish these stats. In fact they try to hide any and all stats like this. They only report on the good parts of the experiments and just leave out the people who died and the stats they don’t like.
A statement of fact in one of them was that for every 1 mg/dL drop in their cholesterol level they got an increase in coronary death by 11%. Whoa! That maybe should have started them thinking in new directions but no.
This hypothesis that has been so over publicized that high cholesterol and fat are bad for you, and causes heart disease, that it has been called, “the greatest deception of our time”, by scientific personnel. And there are many other scientists who simply say that there is no basis in fact to keep up this charade.
I know that because of this hugely vested financially political campaign has been waged on the masses for so long, it has been highly successful at infiltrating even the governmental health agencies as well as the mainstream medical agencies. The scientists, as many do, have manipulated the data sufficiently to their financial advantage in this so-called “diet-heart idea”. Some have even said that any independent scientist free of preconceived ideas and no financial interests would see that evidence proves that this is not the case.
And it will take quite the rebuttal to get rid of it, but truth shall prevail. It always does in time.
When it comes down to it, it was not just one experiment that was published showing that all the statins drugs, and clofibrate, and gemfibrozil all stimulated cancer growth. Statin drugs will probably give you cancer. Research has shown this to be true.
Some more truths shown by experiment are that they also cause memory loss, peripheral neuropathy, aggressive behavior, short temper, kidney failure, death, muscle problems, and deformed births even worse than those caused by thalidomide, by pregnant women taking these drugs. Facts also being shown by autopsy, are that people are dying from atherosclerosis and heart attacks who had little or no fat in their diets.

Healthy Way To Live
Of course you exercise, eat good plant source foods, your vegetables and fruits, some nuts and seeds, and get out in the sun 10 minutes daily, have a real purpose to your life, a goal, something to strive for that is positive, a good relationship with your friends, children and spouse because you know these things are good and positive for you to do. Also something very important to do is to get your 8 hours of sleep at night so your brain can replenish itself properly.
And you do need to eat those animal fats sparingly, especially if you grill. The crock pot can be very helpful with keeping them undamaged. Plus the crock pot is handy to use for when you go to work, and when you come home your dinner is already done, and there is less mess to clean up.
Think about what I have said.
Talk to your friends about it and read more science, it may save your life. It is such a shame that trusting your doctor is not always wise these days.
I want to end this by telling you my new found logic.
“Seek health education. Not drugs”
